About Me

Hi! I’m Emily, owner of Sugar & Petal Cakery! I am so glad you stopped by my website, and would love to tell you a little about myself. My first and greatest love is Jesus, and that impacts everything about me, my life, and my small business! I’m blessed to share my life with my husband, Josh, and spend much of my time as a full time ICU nurse.

Sugar & Petal was developed to bring life to my creative outlet. My goal has never been to make this my career - it is something that brings me solace and delight in the midst of this busy, crazy life! Because of this, I only accept a few commissions a month, and I also only accept commissions that truly inspire and excite me. (If you can’t tell, that’s usually girlie, flowery, sparkly, pink things!)
